I understand that countless hours are invested to ensure that your wedding is a reflection of your vision. I also knows that when the big day comes it ends up flying by! So, as your photographer, I make sure that I see EVERYTHING. I am a bundle of BOUNDLESS energy and I'm always moving as I search for the real facial expressions and I listen for laughter. I anticipate exactly where I need to be to get the shot, and I do it all without being intrusive.

I draw from many sources for my photographic inspiration. I love the raw emotion of photojournalism as well as the seductive, mysterious look of fashion photography. By fusing the two, along with my close relationship to this thing called "light" I come up with a style that's called "fashion photojournalism.” I believe in romantic lighting and incredible backgrounds to complete a scene, so I always choose my locations carefully when given the opportunity to choose. I never interrupt a moment or pose situations that are already magical on their own. One of my main goals is to NEVER stress out the bride and groom, so I keep everything fast, professional, fun, and relaxed.

I picked up my first camera at the age of 6. I didn't care what the photos looked like at first, just how much fun it was to take them. As I grew up my tastes became more refined and I developed a passion for manipulating light. Millions of photos later, I still use alternative, innovative, sometimes quirky methods and I enjoy experimenting in the moment to create unique, one-of-a-kind images.

Before your wedding day, chances are that I've ran anywhere between 14 and 20 miles. As an avid marathon runner, one of my favorite things in the world is to watch the sun rise over the ocean alongside my girlfriend and running partner, Trish.

I just LOVE doing wedding photography at The Chrysler Museum of Art! Huber Court is just about the coolest place for a wedding ceremony and reception in this region. It’s just got the coolest vibe, it’s got very interesting architecture, and depending on the time of day, the light can go from fantastic to dismal in an instant.

Never a dull moment!

Sonya and Darryl contacted me to shoot their wedding with a scant 3 weeks till the date and I jumped on it. Any excuse to photograph a wedding at the Chrysler Museum is a good excuse.

This was almost a complete do it yourself wedding. Sonya and Darryl, their families and friends did all the decor, floral, music, darn near everything except the catering. I think the only thing that stopped them from doing that was permits and insurance! The wedding ceremony didn’t start till well after sunset, but I got there early to do some pre-wedding photography.

What a great night! That horn player was simply AWESOME! (a friend of the family). There were at least 200 lit candles in Huber Court, and the atmosphere was very soothing and romantic.
