Maya & Matt’s Wedding Ceremony took place on Oct 22nd, 2011 at Christ & St. Luke’s Church in Norfolk, Virginia. Their Wedding Reception was held at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art in Virginia Beach, Virginia. (This venue was formerly named “The Contemporary Arts Center of Virginia” ) This was TRULY a MAGNIFICENT wedding. I’m SO thankful that Maya and Matt chose me to do their wedding photography. In the 14-15 months that we’ve spent getting to know one another through their Beach Engagement Photo Session and through coordinating details about their wedding, I’ve come to know them pretty well. They’re two of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure to be around. Just a down to earth and genuinely NICE couple.
Christ & St. Luke’s Church is a JAW DROPPER. The church all by itself is pretty amazing, but Char’s Floral Designs took it right into “Fairy Tale Wedding” level with some beautiful work. Wedding photography at this historic Norfolk Church is a real pleasure. It’s a bit dark in there, so attempting it with anything less than HIGH quality professional equipment and A LOT of experience is probably not going to yield good results. Fortunately, I have BOTH.![]()
Blue Steel Lighting Design took Char’s Floral Designs up another few notches of “INCREDIBLE” at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art. It was mesmerizing.
Valentine Photo Booth REALLY took the fun meter up a BUNCH of pegs as well! The guests LOVED THE PHOTO BOOTH!
Congratulations to Maya and Matt! Thanks for letting me perform your wedding photography! Here are some of my favorite photos from their wedding below :
