Katie and Joel were married October 8th, 2011. Aqua Restaurant at Bay Creek Marina was the location for this wedding which took place just before sunset. The weather was gorgeous! It couldn’t have been more perfect. What was even cooler to me about this wedding is that I had done the wedding photography for FOUR couples at this wedding! It was like a reunion!
This wedding had a a wonderful laid back vibe. It completely “fit” the location and all the family and friends that made the trip to Cape Charles to be a part of Katie & Joel’s Sunset Beach Wedding on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
I’ve known Katie and Joel for a long time, and this wedding was very special to me in many ways. It was one I’ll never forget.
Entertainment for the wedding reception was provided by the band “Borderline Crazy”. As Joel, the groom put it, “THEY ROCKED!”. From my perspective, they were PERFECT for this wedding. They are an EXCELLENT choice for a wedding band.
