I love doing wedding photography at the Contemporary Arts Center of Virginia. Usually, I do the wedding ceremony photos in Rodriguez Pavilion, then I do the reception photos in the Contemporary Arts Center Atrium. But, this was a different setup, with both the Ceremony and the Reception in Rodriguez Pavilion.
It was definitely a pleasure to the wedding photography for Gabrielle and Rey. I had met Gabrielle when I ran the Marine Corps Marathon in 2007 and she was working for Team In Training. I knew this was going to be a fun one.
Gabrielle and Rey also did a Trash The Dress / Tux session before the wedding earlier in the summer. (I’ll blog the portrait sessions later).
Just a beautiful wedding, great reception, then we went down to the beach after for a few more shots.

I like this last shot above at the Oceanfront Hilton. That’s about as close to the wedding night as I want to get with a camera. The elevator!
