Lesner Inn Wedding - Virginia Beach - Aubrey & Chris

I did the photography for Aubrey and Chris’s Lesner Inn Wedding on July 4th, 2009! What do you get when you cross a Bride who has a passion for the color pink, a groom who is a police officer with all his police officer friends, and a professional UFC mixed martial arts fighter (who can also break dance like a pro?)? What you get is a NIRVANA for a photographer like me. Just a consummate target rich environment. Everywhere I aimed the camera, there was a subject waiting for me.

This is not to say that it was an “easy” wedding to shoot, because I approach wedding photography in the same way I approach marathon running. They’re both endurance events for me because I just never stop moving. This one really ran me ragged!

I LOVED when one of the groomsman showed up half way through the reception with 12 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts! (I do believe they were still warm too!) I’ve never seen anyone chase a donut with a beer or mixed drink till I had photographic evidence from this wedding.

Just a great couple with fantastic families and friends!
