Norfolk Botanical Gardens Wedding Photography of Brandy and Chris

I love doing wedding photography at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. I’ve done a SLEW of weddings there, and even though the venue itself stays the same for the most part, I can make it look like I’ve never been there like an over excited child arriving at “name a theme park here”. The staff is always attentive and those ladies out there know what they’re doing. Makes my job a joy every time.

Chris and Brandy had chosen the Butterfly Garden for their ceremony and Baker Hall for their reception. Thank God I had my Rock n Roller cart with me to haul my gear out to the Butterfly Garden. The temperature that day went all the way up to that place on the thermometer that reads “HELL LIKE!” and there was just a scant breeze. It was a THREE shirt wedding for me. I confess that I keep spares in my car!

Chris and Brandy’s families and friends were all down to earth, friendly, and ready to celebrate. What a great wedding to witness and document. I had a great time shooting this one.
