This will be the first post of many in the coming weeks. I started this blog last year long after I’d begun the season, so I’ve got a SLEW of weddings and portrait shoots, personal stuff and other photography related things to share here. So, here I go.
Jesse and Liz’s wedding was back in June of 2007 at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. Their reception was held at Grand Affairs in Virginia Beach. Jesse’s in the Navy, and on his way to England. He’s plucking Liz out of Chesapeake and whisking her off to Europe. (I can think of worse places to be whisked to!)
Liz’s mother and sister came all the way from Australia to attend the wedding, and it was a beautiful ceremony in the Rose Garden at Norfolk Botanical Gardens.
Jesse and Liz placed a BIG priority on their photography. They allotted GENEROUS time between the ceremony and reception to take advantage of the gardens for pictures after I’d shot all the family formals in the Rose Gardens. We were able to take our time and walk around to some great spots I know to use around the gardens.
The reception was a lot of fun too. Grand Affairs did a nice job, the DJ was good (which is also very important) and everyone had a great time.
